A brief amateur film of the race meeting organised by the Cambridge University Automobile Club and the Vintage Sports Car Club at the disused RAF Bomber Command airfield at Gransden Lodge in Cambridgeshire. The meeting on 13th. July 1947 included races for Edwardian cars, the 1908 GP Itala Cup for vintage racing cars, a race for Bentleys and another for Bugattis only with 18 starters and the major race of the day, for the Grandson Trophy, a 20 lap Formula Libre race with a £100 prize donated by “The Motor”.
