The original archives of the Trust were based on Hugh Conway’s remarkable collection of historic material and now include 27,000 technical drawings, over 10,000 photographs and thousands of historic documents made available for academic and educational research to visiting experts and enthusiasts from around the world. Bugatti Trust members benefit from preferential rates for research support and reprints.

The sale of one of Hugh’s Bugattis funded construction of the Prescott based Museum and Study Centre in which the collection is now housed. Prescott is also the home of the Bugatti Owners’ Club and location of the Speed Hill Climb. Despite the shared location, the Trust operates as a separate entity to the Club and was officially opened by HRH the Duke of Edinburgh on 16th March 1990.

A Cotswold Heritage Gem, The Bugatti Trust Museum and Study Centre is open all year round to visitors interested in cars, art and design, engineering, the world of the Bugatti family and more specifically Ettore Bugatti. The collection on display includes sculptures by Rembrandt Bugatti, celebrated animalier sculptor and furniture by Carlo Bugatti as well as artefacts from the family, racing memorabilia and of course cars.

Winner of the international 2019 Museum of the year award in the Octane Historic awards, the Bugatti Trust has been able to continue and expand its active educational outreach programme. This includes expanded F1 in schools sponsorship including a new local team, new educational research challenges, VEX Robotics, renewed commitments to Formula Student in the UK and SAE in America, sponsorship of an electric FS team with TBRe, a new textile design challenge with Tewkesbury school, extensive archive developments and a brand new exhibition taking visitors to the mountains of Sicily with Bugatti at the Targa Florio road race.
