AGM

Some snapshots taken during last week’s AGM at the Bugatti Trust where chairman Hugh Conway presented a summary of the Trust’s activities and accounts to attending members. A welcome opportunity to catch up on national and international Bugatti stories after the report followed by the two winning design presentations by students from Coventry University who had entered the Bugatti Trust design challenge last year.

Under the watchful eyes of Michael Goatman, head of industrial design at Coventry University and their course director and tutor Seid Porobic, the two winning teams from Coventry University’s Interior Design Mdes/BA(Hons) present their winning design concepts on how they re-imagined the Bugatti Trust before receiving their prizes from the chairman. Some fantastic ideas – both teams were joint winners as the judges felt there were strong ideas in both which could spark design changes to improve the visitors’ and learning experience for the Bugatti Trust in the future.

A few snapshots taken whilst Davide Maffei, Alessandro Barbieri and Serena Mignani were at the Bugatti Trust this week filming interviews and Bugatti exhibits for their forthcoming documentary ‘The Blue Factory’ – the story of Bugatti Automobili and the EB110 -. We are hoping to welcome them back at Prescott for the weekend of La vie en bleu incorporating La vita rossa May 28th and 29th to show them Prescott in top gear and hopefully give them the opportunity of a passenger ride up the hill.
