Bugatti Trust Christmas Card 2017

Ettore Bugatti took to designing light cars during the first decade of the 20th Century when the convention was to build heavy models with large engines. His design for a light car weighing 350kg with 855cc engine developing 10hp had numerous original and patented features and was taken up by Peugeot. The contract he signed with the Company in August 1911 resulted in it building more than 4000 of the Peugeot Bébé over the next decade. The contract was extremely profitable for Bugatti and gave him the means to fully equip his factory at Molsheim.
